Digital camera features/specs for teens, moms, dads, pros

Many kinds of digital cameras are available in the market. Different people have different needs and so digital cameras with different features are aimed at different groups like teens, moms, dads, and pros.

Teens and Moms
Teens although much inquisitive about how things work, do not have the patience or the money to buy a digital SLR camera. They are recently introduced to the world of digital photography, and are happy with a good point-and-shoot digital camera. Moms, also do not like much of technicalities and hate changing lenses to suit different photographic needs. They want a digital camera that will automatically adjust all the requirements like exposure, focus, color balance, depth of field, etc. They like ease of operation and are not much concerned with high quality. They would like to make home movies, and would appreciate video clip making facility in their camera. They also do not want to pay much for a digital camera. For both these groups, teens and moms, a point-and-shoot digital camera or a snapshot digital camera is most appropriate.

They need to shoot onsite or in the office, photograph people for ads and publicity, photograph products, upload the digital photos on the web for commerce and trade, need to get prints from their office color laser printer and from a quick-print shop. They also share the camera with their coworkers. They have to make audio/video presentations, and so want a camera with audio/video features. They want to get professional-looking results from their digital camera without hiring a pro. They are ready to pay a moderate sum for their digital camera. For consumers such as dads, digital camera manufacturers have come up with 'Prosumer' digital cameras, which are meant for professional consumers.
